Back Yard Garden
We have done a number of jobs in this back yard garden in East Lindfield over the last few years. Initially the garden was cleaned up, pruned, weeded, planted and mulched. We have since repaired the rotting fascia and roof timbers in the barbeque outhouse, built privacy screens for the utility area and done some paving repair and controlled the weeds with poison. Unfortunately some of the plants have been eaten by the Wallabies as this property borders the bush in the nearby National park and the wallabies find their way into this back yard.
The pool area in the photo above is looking nice. The bush rock is a nice element which has a connecting effect to the surrounding bush land. There were a lot more plants planted around the pool originally which would have added more colour and form but unfortunately the wallabies have found them tasty and most have disappeared over time.

The photos and information below show more of the work completed in the garden and the progress of the plants over time in this back yard garden in East Lindfield.
In the left of this photo the plants with the white flowers are Eriostemon myoperoides which were planted about 2 years earlier in this back yard. They are putting on a nice flower display and are not favoured by the wallabies and so have remained and flourished.
Behind the clothes line are Azaleas that have been cut back and shaped and now are flowering beautifully. The privacy screen for the utility area can be seen next to the barbeque outhouse. The corner of the outhouse can be seen with the new fascia and just visible are some of the roof timbers which had to be replaced.
