We have done work on this garden over the last two years. Originally the garden was over grown and very dark. The tree in the left of the photo below is a lillypilly and was at least twice the size before we cut it right down so the leaves would grow lower down and provide the privacy that it was originally planted for. All the plants was too tall and were pruned down for them to bush up and also to let more light into the garden and apartment.
This work in the photos was done to improve the garden as the apartment was being put up for sale. The end result is a garden that is neat and tidy with nice new grass, a straight fence and very little maintenance to do in the future.
The clivea’s, the plants with the orange flowers in the photo were moved to that spot about a year before, and are thriving. Three of the fence posts had rotted and the fence was leaning so we brought in some new fence posts and concreted them into the ground next to the rotted posts. This straightened up the fence.
New turf was brought in to make a nice patch of new lawn for the residents to spend time in the garden.

A before shot of the end of the garden. All the weeds had just been removed and mulch is to be put in this area.
