Landscaped garden in Belrose

This landscaped garden in Belrose has turned into a really individual and beautiful garden. We have done a number of jobs over the last few years and the garden has become a beautiful place to chill out in. The original owners started the work with new turf and gardens in the front and the new owners have re turfed the back yard, added plants in the front and back yard and continued the improvement process. The yard has a really pleasant relaxed feel with plenty of spaces around the pool area that are perfect for their young boys to play in and the parents to relax in.

The plantings around the pool provide a nice softening effect while providing privacy from the neighbours. The taller  plants were planted years before and the plants to the left have been planted and will catch up and complete the privacy screen.

The new lawn around the pool area looks great, with the pots and seating around the pool really adding to the relaxed feel of this garden. The covered barbeque area at the end of the pool is yet another place to relax in.

The addition of the garden seats and table and the pots has made this nice corner of the garden into a really inviting space that I’m sure the new owners spend a lot of time in. The plantings in the garden are mainly tropical as it’s a shady corner.

The plantings in this garden and the photo below are a variety of Pittosporum and will grow to form a low hedge around 1.5 metres tall. These hedges will provide privacy from the neighbours.

The Strelitzia plantings in the railway sleeper garden have been in about three years and have grown to a good size. The massed planting provides a nice effect with the flowers providing a good splash of colour.
